Rand Harbert joined State Farm as an agent in 1992 and served in various leadership roles, including president and CEO of State Farm General Insurance Co., before being appointed to his current role in 2013. He also serves on the company’s Chairman’s Council.
Mr. Harbert currently serves on the board of directors for Teach For America and The American College.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri and an M.B.A from Webster University and graduated from the general management program at the Harvard Business School. He earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 2002.
