Deborah Heydel started her career as an electrical engineer in the automotive industry, with an extreme focus on analytics from the start. After earning a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University, she shifted into the travel industry, working for an airline to maximize revenue in the Asia-Pacific markets. Ms. Heydel joined Hilton eight years ago and has held positions in finance, revenue management and marketing, where she now implements Hilton’s global marketing strategy and performance measurements. Optimization of marketing spend is essential in today’s competitive market and Hilton has made great strides to get more out of every dollar. Deborah is from Michigan, comes from a very large family, and is a basketball coach and avid sports fan. Go, Spartans!
