Photo captions are often the first elements of a publication to be read. Writing photo captions is an essential part of the news photographer’s job. A photo caption should provide the reader basic information needed to understand a photograph and its relevance to the news. It should be written in a consistent, concise format that allows news organizations to move the photo to publication without delay.
KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE: Write and edit with online readers' needs and habits in mind. Web usability studies show that readers tend to skim over sites rather than read them intently. They also tend to be more proactive than print readers or TV viewers, hunting for information rather than passively taking in what you present to them.
When does the free flow of information that serves the public good outweigh the rights of individuals to personal privacy? That is a balancing act journalists regularly face.

The banking system is the heart of a country's economy. It pumps the money that is required for the economy to grow and for businesses to develop. This is especially true for developing countries as they typically do not have developed capital markets and so bank credit makes up most of the funds that small businesses need to expand.
Most investigations usually begin with a tip from a source, or simply a hunch, that something is amiss. Perhaps you have noticed a series of events that suggest a pattern or trend that deserves a closer look.
