I'm one of the journalist who already lost mother, family, and all assets for reporting such freely environmental features.We've established newly Environment Department but how it's possible to express in word such tragedy.Tried much to make and pay attention from the government and global journalist and media community.More of our readers specially, asians may find the present conditions and atmosphere of our climate changing and environment.Still, waiting for hand from our community that can recover and to build new gren and peaceful world.

Environmental coverage is one of the most important beats for journalist today more than ever before. In my country, the coverage of environmental issues could be described as fair,though I believe there is room to have green stories on the front page. The environment beat is alla bout peope, animals and our interaction with the natural resources. It is without doubt that man is the single largest threat to the environment presently. I believe journalists have the enthusiasm for covering environmental issues but are let down by the difficulties in getting up-to-date information quickyl, statistics and authoritative sources to add punch to their coverage. We have a whole maze of issues from wildlfire to natural resource protection and human development. Information and the opportunity to investigate in depth are major issues facing environmental coverage.

It's my country Myanmar with disfigurement due to Nargis Cyclone Storm. Media in Myanmar not free as usual. But wellwishers give their donation thro media and media take a role in sharing relief aids thro victims. But I got many photos and if someone wants to get I can share.

'Am from Uganda a country so free with any kind of data be it security, enviromental or any other we are always invited the joining body of journalist at the media house. An example is with the figures about HIV/AIDS they a obtainable at the click.

I am from India where natural disasters and even sometimes man made disasters (terrorist activities which claim innocent lives) are common. In India, media, both electronic and print have full rights to cover these disasters but at times the official death toll announced by the administration or the govt. of the particular area or State is far less than the actual death toll as described by the media or the local sources.

Talking about environmental issues, the people of India, especially the rural and suburban are not very aware of saving the environment and even there are lots of lapses on the part of govt. and administration, which ultimately leads to envionmental disasters.

الاستاذ العزيز ..هادي الربيعي ما دام (... العراق لا يصلح للعيش بسبب جميع عناصر الحياة...) فهل المطلوب ان نترك العراق... ونعيش في بلد اخر كما فعل الاخرون ..؟؟ العراق عراقنا ..والمشكلة مشكلتنا ..ويمكننا التغلب على كافة الصعاب اذا صرنا يدا واحدة وقلبا واحدا .. لكن اليس الامان اولا ..؟ والارهاب في قمة ما نطمح للتخلص منه ...يجب ان يكون توجه العراقيين وجل تفكيرهم في التخلص من الارهاب المصدر الينا ومراقبة مصادره..! فمسالة تجفيف قرى في مدينة ديالى وقطع مياه نهر الوند من الجانب الايراني , وتجفيف قرى اخرى في مدينة واسط ومن ثم حرقها مسالتان بحاجة الى التفكير العميق..ماذا فعل الشعب العراقي حتى يستحق كل هذا الحقد..؟! عمليات تدريب وتمويل الخارجين عن القانون لمحاربة الحكومة العراقبة وقتل الابرياء هو اخطر من مخلفات الحروب وسمومها ..!التدخل الايراني كالسرطان يسري في جسد العراق اليوم. اما التدخل السوري السافر فحدث ولا حرج ..انهم مصدر الانتحاريين ومراكز تدريبهم وتمويلهم.وهناك دول اخرى غير ظاهره في الساحة مثل السعودية, الاردن ,الكويت , قطر , الامارات,وتركيا اما الدولة ذات الثقل الكبير في التدخل وغير ظاهرة للعيان ...روسيا. الكل يتدخل في الشان العراقي ونحن وحكومتنا لا نحرك ساكنا بل نخشى حتى ذكر اسم الدولة المتدخلة بصريح العبارة.......ذلك هو الخطر الحقيقي.
