Could you break up with journalism?
Working long hours for little pay, all for a good story. For some reporters, it's worth it. For others, the stress is enough to leave journalism behind.
Frustrated by the demand to always place the deadline before personal obligations, Allyson Bird broke things off with the newsroom despite her dogged reporting skills.
"I left news, not because I didn’t love it enough, but because I loved it too much – and I knew it was going to ruin me," she wrote in blog post. "I finally came to accept that the vanity of a byline was keeping me in a job that left me physically and emotionally exhausted, yet supremely unsatisfied."
As online journalism fuels the 24/7 news cycle, journalists will continue to struggle with balancing sanity with the scoop. What's your take on the issue? How do you deal with the expectations of being plugged in at all times?

Journalism :A CALL
I have practices Journalism for the last ten years. I have gone through many challenges like in any other proffesion but one thing has made me over-come these challenges; that big passion inside and the urge to serve the community better. And I hav manage to interlink it with my motto; Service to God and my Country, my World. And That I will continue to play may part and responsiblities based on this Call. God Bless!!
What we do when Journalism become Yellow Yournalism?
I am Faiza from Pakistan, associated with TV Journalism since last 10 years, Journalism is my passion and it is what i live for. After my masters in journalism i though that what i learn in my course, applicable to my professional life. But, Thanks to News Channel owner, reality become business, TRP ( Television Rating Points) is top of all the ethics and laws. That made me annoyed, with whom i fight for my professional rights? Fairness, authenticity, accuracy and more other professional tips are now in vain. Unprofessional pressures made me depress, i decide to leave journalism under siege. No doubt i respect my profession and behave like a front line soldier but now i stop and see my direction for betterment of my passion.
