Warren "Bud" Clarke died Thursday morning, August 27, 2009, while doing one of the things he loved--riding his bicycle. Bud founded the Clarke/Thompson Advertising & Design company with his wife, Pat. Bud was also a devoted member of BMA and was past president of the BMA Hudson Valley chapter.

Rupert Zimmerer, long-time BMA member, passes away
Rupert O. Zimmerer, 95, of Maplewood, New Jersey, died on November 4. Mr. Zimmerer was born in Newark and attended Newark University (now part of Rutgers). In 1943 he joined the Heinn Company, manufacturers of loose-leaf binders. As a manufacturer's representative for them and Perrygraf slide-charts, he had customers into his 90s. Mr. Zimmerer was a lifetime member of the New Jersey Chapter of BMA. For details, click here.

Long-time BMA member Mary Louise (Soltes) Nemeth passes away
Mary Louise Nemeth passed away Tuesday, April 3, at the Greens of Lyndhurst, OH. A long-time member of BMA, Mary Louise attended over 50 consecutive BMA national conferences and was recipient of the G.D. Crain Award. She was also one of the first women to serve on the BMA Board of Directors. Mary Louise was beloved wife of the late Frank and Aunt and Great Aunt to 17 nieces and nephews. BMA's and Forrester Research's recent CMO study showcases the need to embrace data and collaboration.
