YP Program launched

New Initiative Provides Those Early in Their Careers Education and Access to Global Marketing Leaders

The Business Marketing Association (BMA) unveiled a new category of membership targeting young business-to-business (B2B) marketing professionals. The new tier, BMA Young Professionals, provides individuals at the early stage of their careers with the guidance, resources and support of one of the world’s leading marketing organizations.

Previously, BMA offered individual, corporate and student membership levels. With this new category, BMA is now able to extend the professional development benefits of individual BMA membership to young professionals thirty years of age and  younger at a reduced rate to access leading experts, best practices and current content in B2B marketing.

“BMA was founded on the commitment to offer support, resources and networking opportunities to further the professional development of its members,” said Eduardo Conrado, 2012-13 BMA Chairman and senior vice president and chief marketing officer Motorola Solutions.  “As seasoned B2B professionals know, the first ten years of career development are critical in determining personal goals and establishing industry credibility. This new membership level is an important vehicle for us to make our programs more accessible to young professionals navigating through this exciting and important time.”   

The Young Professional membership level is available to individuals who work in the fields of business-to-business marketing and communications.  For a reduced membership rate of $75, young professional thirty years of age and younger will receive BMA’s content, including papers, surveys, multimedia programs, insights into social media marketing trends, measurement techniques, case studies and new products.

The BMA has grown its membership base to one the largest communities of business-to-business professionals. The power of this network is extended to over 21 local chapters and culminates at the BMA 2013 International Conference, May 29-31, 2013 in Chicago.
