Hayzlett hosts Bloomberg series "Inside the C-Suite"
Bloomberg Television contributor Jeffrey Hayzlett celebrated the debut of his new business series last week. The international BMA board member is scheduled to host an initial eight episodes of "Inside the C-Suite with Jeffrey Hayzlett."
NorCal BMA will launch the McNutt Fund Scholarship Program at an October 29 event that marks the chapter's 75th anniversary. The scholarship honors the first president of the chapter, George C. McNutt, and his wife, Claire. The pair met on the job for LeTourneau and later opened their own industrial advertising agency in Oakland.

Choices are the essence of strategy. It's not always about what you actually implement, but what you choose not to allow as a distraction. Arguably the biggest challenge marketers face today is how to do more with less. With so many options, especially in the digital ecosystem, marketers must focus on making the right choices.
Most marketers have a lot to learn about content strategy, says Mike Moran, senior strategist for Converseon and author of the best-selling Search Engine Marketing. "That isn't a bad thing as long as you acknowledge that and decide to get moving," he tells BMA Buzz. Moran will point out the path forward during a full-day seminar for BMA-NJ members on October 28.
B2B marketers express rising confidence in their ability to produce effective content, according to a recent study from the Content Marketing Institute and MarketingProfs. But there is plenty of room for improvement. The report looks at how marketers are building content programs.
