2010 National BMA Conference

As of June 1, more than 650 marketers from 280 companies in 30 states, Australia, Canada, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore have registered to attend. See a list of the attending companies here. After last year’s successful “UNlearn” conference, which drew 350 business marketers, this year’s “Engage” conference is close to doubling that number.

To be held in a fabulous new state-of-the-art conference facility at Chicago’s Swissotel, the conference will run from mid-day Wednesday, June 2, through mid-day, June 4, for 48 straight hours of jam-packed learning and networking.

“Engage” will showcase innovative ways b-to-b marketers are deploying traditional and non-traditional thinking and programs to better engage employees, channel partners, customers and other demand drivers in order to generate brand, sales and profit recovery as customer budgets come back and the “Great Recession" recedes.

To tell these stories, BMA has recruited 65 presenters (keynoters and breakout session moderators and panelists)—virtually all very senior corporate marketers from companies across the U.S. In all there will be 10 keynote sessions, one general-session panel and 12 breakout sessions.

The conference kicks off with a keynote address on by Beth Comstock, chief marketing officer of GE, and ends with an address on real-time marketing by David Meerman Scott, last year’s #1-rated speaker.
