BMA Chairman Stephen Liguori led the association’s board as its members weighed the merits of a union with the ANA (Association of National Advertisers). He spoke to BMA Buzz about the impact the new relationship will have on members, chapters and the B2B marketing community at large.
BMA Buzz: Why are you so excited about BMA’s combination with the ANA? What does this mean for BMA members?
Stephen Liguori: I’m excited for a couple of key reasons.
BMA members last week approved the combination with the Association of National Advertisers. All BMA members became associate members of the ANA and members of its BMA Division on December 1.
“It’s been a rugged journey, but we collectively agree we’re headed in a good direction,” said Stephen Liguori, chairman of the BMA, as the vote closed with 93% in favor of the union.
