Iberoamerican communication congress calls for papers [Brazil]

Communication professors, graduate and post-graduate students, and professionals are invited to submit papers to the First Iberoamerican Communication Congress (called CONFIBERCOM in Portuguese).
The congress, which will be held from August 1 to 6 at the University of Sao Paulo's School of Communication and Arts, centers around the main theme of communication in the multiethnic Iberoamerican world.
The program includes 16 panels on a variety of topics from audiovisual journalism, cyberculture, to media history, advertising, and more. Works must reflect on the theme and sub-themes of the event and be in Portuguese or Spanish.
CONFIBERCOM is the result of the Guadalajara Protocol, signed by 10 organizations that represent the field of Iberoamerican communication. Its goal is to strengthen the ties between Iberoamerican cultures and bring them into the international arena, promoting the work of regional experts.
