Journalism students and professors can send their best papers to a media history conference in Brazil and compete for a prize.

The call for papers is part of the eighth national conference that promotes scientific research on the media in Brazil. The event is organized by the Universidade Estadual do Centro-Oeste.

Work selected for conference discussion groups will automatically be entered in the competition.

The groups are divided into themes including the history of journalism, history of advertising and institutional communication, history of digital media, history of print media, history of radio, history of audiovisual and visual media and the history of alternative media.
