An conference on media and democracy in Africa seeks papers on the theme of sustainable stability.

The Africa Media & Democracy Conference (AMDMC), sponsored by the Africa Media & Democracy Institute, is held in Accra, Ghana. Distinguished scholars and individuals from Africa and the rest of the world make their paper presentations at the conference. The event is open to academics, journalists, government agencies, policy makers, students and other groups.

This year’s theme is “Media & Democracy towards sustainable stability.” Papers are invited on both this theme and a variety of sub-themes, a full list of which can be found here. Abstracts must be in English and full papers must be submitted in English or French.
