The successful candidate will be expected to have a solid understanding of political, social and economic issues in Lebanon, and a good network of contacts with Lebanese policy-and opinion-makers

The job is based in Beirut but involves a significant amount of story assignments in other parts of the country. The producer should consistently contribute news and innovative ideas for coverage, including feature stories. The ability to closely coordinate with Doha's input department, as well as with Beirut office colleagues, is a must.
