The American Red Cross is seeking a communications specialist to execute media campaigns and educate the greater Bay Area community about the organization.

Job responsibilities include helping to lead the region’s public affairs activities; facilitating positive relationships with local media outlets by developing and distributing press materials; and researching story opportunities daily for inclusion in local chapters’ communications channels.

Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in journalism, public relations, English or a related field, along with two-to-five years of related experience. Fluency in Spanish, Vietnamese or Chinese a plus.
