Annual Karpoor Chandra Kulish Award announced for print journalists

The Rajasthan Patrika Group is now accepting submissions for the 2007 Karpoor Chandra Kulish Award. The competition is open only to teams of print journalists. Teams must have a minimum of three members, including one leader. Deadline: January 31, 2008 at 6:00pm (IST).
The KCK award was founded in recognition of journalist Karpoor Chand Kulish and hopes to foster leadership in the media that promotes freedom, ethics and improved quality of life. The theme for this year’s award is “Human Development.” Stories must have been published between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007. Non-Hindi or non-English stories must be accompanied by full English translations, and Hindi stories must be accompanied by briefs (or summaries) of the stories in English.
