Anti-corruption training program offered to journalists [Indonesia]

Indonesian journalists committed to reporting cases of corruption in their community are encouraged to attend the Citizen Journalism training program for Anti-Corruption (CJAC) in Yogyakarta.

Organized by Sentra Informasi dan Data untuk Anti Korupsi, also known as the SIDAK Institute (Center for Information and Data for Anti-Corruption), the training program aims to teach participants how to use citizen journalism to promote awareness of issues related to corruption and public policy. Attendees of CJAC will also investigate corruption cases and create an anti-corruption blog by the end of the program.

The CJAC training program will take place in Yogyakarta from July 18-23 and is free for all journalists from any Indonesian region.

Prospective participants must submit the online application form and send in an essay on anti-corruption by July 9.
