AL Arab News Channel in Bahrain is seeking a head of the new media department for their website.

Responsibilities include managing the Web team, marketing and presenting Web/digital strategies, developing optimization techniques to deliver the best user experience, and coordinating digital coverage.

Applicants must have a degree in digital media, interaction design or related fields. Candidates should also be fluent in Arabic and English, and have at least seven years of experience in new media.

The successful candidate must have the ability to build and leverage a strong network of peers and partners, in addition to knowledge of Adobe suite, CMS and JavaSript.
