Photojournalists from across the Arab world can apply for the Emirates Photography Competition. Deadline to apply: April 15.

Organized by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, the competition aims to develop the photographic movement in the United Arab Emirates, by attracting the largest possible number of photographers; encouraging amateurs and supporting professionals; establishing specialized workshops, meetings and seminars; and holding personal and group exhibitions, inside the UAE and abroad.

All entries should be submitted in digital format and should be submitted online along with a completed Participation Form in English.

The first place winner will receive a cash prize of AED 20,000 (about US$5,448). Other financial prizes are available.
