Mid-career arts and entertainment editors, producers and writers can apply to be part of a three week arts journalism fellowship in Los Angeles, California from November 1 to 22. The application deadline is June 16.    

Reporters from print, radio, television, and online who cover beats on performing and visual arts, architecture, literature and pop culture are eligible to apply for the 7th annual Arts Journalism Fellowship, hosted by the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and the Getty Foundation. Staffers, freelancers and self-employed journalists also may qualify. 

Chosen journalists will receive opportunities to meet with artists who produce and cover policies on arts and urban culture. The program will cover roundtrip costs to Los Angeles, hotels, meals, materials, Internet access and transportation.
