The Associated Press seeks a chief of bureau for its Paris office, responsible for editorial leadership of France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Monaco, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco.

Candidates must have a strong strategic vision for coverage of the region for both global and regional audiences and a proven track record of leading coverage of top global stories across all media formats. The chief of bureau will be expected to travel throughout the region as the AP's chief correspondent.

The chief of bureau must show experience as a manager who can work with people from different backgrounds to come up with a cohesive news product that works for all formats. Fluency in Dutch, German and/or Arabic would be an advantage.
