Journalists interested in investigating organized crime can enter a competition.

Associazione Ilaria Alpi, FLARE Network and Novaya Gazeta will co-finance two documentaries investigating the social, political and economic consequences of transnational organized crime and corruption.

Two projects will receive EU€2,000 (about US$2,664) to produce a 5-25 minute documentary, and one final winner will receive an additional EU€2,000 prize.

Relevant issues may include, but are not limited to: corruption, fraud, cyber-crime, drug trafficking, human trafficking (women, children, men, organs), environmental crimes, money laundering, smuggling, energy policies, sport match-fixing or illicit calls for tenders.

Participants can propose projects worldwide. Each project must involve at least two journalists from different countries.

Submit a project proposal, budget, timetable, resume, work samples and an identity document by December 30.
