BBC broadcast interview award open

Deadline:

9/8/11

Now in its fourth year, the Nick Clarke award celebrates the single best broadcast interview of each year.

Organized by the BBC, last year's winner was PD James for her interview with Mark Thompson, Director-General of the BBC on The Today Programme. It was launched to honor Clarke, a Radio 4 broadcaster.

Judges are looking for interviews that left a strong impression on the audience, provided a deeper understanding of their subject matter or were particularly memorable.

The closing date is September 8. One entry per program and person and the interview must be submitted exactly as broadcast.

Applicants must send a copy of an interview conducted between 13th July 2010 and 31st July 2011 to Gillian Dear, Room G620 Television Centre, Wood Lane, London W12 7RJ.
