The BBC seeks a producer for radio and online news for broadcasts from London, England and Dakar, Senegal.

The multimedia output at BBC Afrique is varied with a strong emphasis on regional and international news and current affairs. The producer will originate, research, prepare, produce and present a range of output for radio, online and other media forms. The position, based in London, is offered on a six-month contract basis.

Requirements include substantial recent relevant journalistic experience with French as your first (or equivalent) language and an excellent level of spoken and written English. The producer should also bring strong IT and media technology skills alongside extensive knowledge of the Internet.
