BBC Monitoring is seeking a senior journalist, who will be responsible for monitoring, selecting, prioritizing, editing and translating material, primarily in Persian.

The successful candidate will also write, commission and edit specialist products derived from monitored foreign media.

Applicants should have knowledge of traditional and new media in the Caucasus region, a full comprehension of Persian and a high standard of written English.

This is a one-year, fixed-term contract.
