Broadcast journalism course offers scholarships [Worldwide]

Broadcast journalists with at least three years of experience can apply for a scholarship to attend a course in the Netherlands.
The Radio Netherlands Training Centre (RNTC) course "Facts and Formats" will explore various ways of packaging factual content, and address each method's relative strengths, weaknesses and suitability. The course will take place October 14 - December 6.
Special attention will be given to developing and pitching creative program ideas; carrying out program research to ensure appropriate and accurate content for the target audience; and producing effective and attractive factual programming making use of innovative combinations of basic formats.
Journalists from certain countries can receive full scholarship, covering international and on-site travel, accommodation, insurance, tuition fees and meal allowances.
Eligible countries include: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Autonomous Palestinian Territories, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea-Bissau, Honduras, India, Indonesia, Iran, Ivory Coast, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Macedonia, Mali, Moldova, Mongolia, Mozambique, Namibia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Surinam, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
