Broadcasters sought for Europe-Asia project on the environment
A project in Malaysia will bring together four broadcasters from Europe and four broadcasters from Asia to produce a series of documentaries on how local communities are responding to global environmental challenges.
The first Asia-Europe TV Documentary Co-Production on Environment is being organized by the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, in collaboration with the Asia-Europe Foundation and the European Broadcasting Union.
The project, which spans from January to November 2009, will have a production meeting in April in Europe and a rough cut meeting in September in Asia. Participants will produce their own documentary according to the common criteria defined in the first meeting.
