Journalists in Brazil can participate in this contest.

Sebrae and Brazil's National Federation of Journalists, among others, are accepting entries for the Sebrae Journalism Prize.

The contest awards print, broadcast and online journalism that focuses on the successful practices of small businesses, entrepreneurship, cooperation and competence, innovation and inclusion.

A total of BR$96,500 (about US$50,000) will be distributed in nine categories. The winners in each category will receive BR$12,500 (about US$6,500). The grand prize winner will receive BR$25,000 (US$12,500).

Works must have been published or broadcast in 2012. Authors must be Brazilian journalists or foreigners who reside in Brazil.

The application deadline is January 21.
