A journal seeks papers on youth, media and the political uprisings in North Africa.

The theme of the special issue of the Middle East Journal of Culture and Communication is “Youth, Media and the Politics of Change in North Africa: Negotiating Identities, Spaces and Power.” Writers are encouraged to submit papers that pertain to this theme.

Accepted topics include activism and social media, virtual communities and cultural/media forms such as music, television and film. For a full list of topics, click here. Papers can focus on a single country or do cross-country analysis.
