Photographers ages 30 and younger can participate in a contest.

ProfiFoto magazine, in collaboration with Canon, is accepting entries for the Canon ProfiFoto Award.

The contest supports photography project proposals or work that is in the process of being completed.

The competition is open to professional photographers and students who have finished or are about to finish their training in photography or photo design.

To apply, participants should provide an informal project description or concept and between five and 10 photography samples.

Five winners will each receive Canon equipment worth EU€2,000 (about US$2,550). The winners also will have an opportunity to publish their photo projects in ProfiFoto and in the online gallery.

The deadline is January 9.
