China Center Television (CCTV) is seeking an assignment editor for its international desk.

The successful candidate will plan future international coverage; monitor international breaking news, coordinate with international reporters based around the world; assist chief editors and program directors on assignments for overseas reporters; manage stories from overseas reporters and monitor their workload; and assist with logistics and local support.

Applicants should speak English at a native level and have a minimum of five years’ experience in producing or news planning, preferably with internationally renowned media organizations.

Applicants should also have a solid base of international contacts, particularly across Asia.
