Journalists, PR and other communication professionals who have organized campaigns in children's environment and health are invited to enter the CEHAPE Good Practice Awards. Deadline: December 7.

Applicants must be based in one or more countries of the WHO Europe region (map with full list of countries). Application forms are available in English and Russian. Information about the competition is available in; English, Romanian, Russian, Kyrgyz, Serbian, Macedonian, Armenian, Bulgarian and Georgian.

Nominations include: Water and/or Sanitation, Accidents and/or Physical Activity, Indoor air and/or Outdoor air, Chemicals and or Radiation, Youth participation, Mobility, Climate protection and Schools.

The winners of each category will be awarded EU€1,000 (about US $1,500), and will receive their prizes at the Conference of Ministers in Parma, Italy in March, 2010.

The competition is supported by the Health & Environment Alliance (HEAL).
