Citizen journalists can enter a video contest.

To participate, send an original video or photo of yourself telling why CNN should send you to one of the convention cities. Make sure you start by stating your name and which city you’d like to visit.

Videos should be no more than 45 seconds and written submissions should be 150 words or less.

The contest is open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older.

Six winners (+ one guest each) will be among CNN talent and delegates in Tampa and in Charlotte to take in the sights and sounds of this year’s convention buzz at the CNN Grills and beyond.
