Journalism students who are college juniors, seniors or are enrolled in graduate school can apply for this paid internship in Los Angeles.

CNN Entertainment is seeking interns for its winter 2012 program.

Applicants should have a strong academic record (GPA 3.0 or above strongly preferred) and must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship. Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply.

All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to the beginning of the internship if accepted to the program.

Interns will have the opportunity to accompany producers on stories. In production, interns learn how to set up a script with tape and write using CNN's database. Interns also learn how to use CNN's tape database to locate tapes for packages and sound bites for air. Often, interns book and greet show guests and assist in basic administrative tasks.
