CNN Español seeks technical editor [US]
Journalists with fluency in English and Spanish can apply for this position in Miami.
CNN en Español (CNNE) is seeking an editor to manage the technical output of all live shows.
Applicants should possess a university degree in a media-related subject, a solid understanding of live television production and two years of non-linear editing experience. Candidates should also have five years of live television experience, final cut pro editing knowledge, and field-camera experience.
The successful candidate will control robotic cameras and audio mixer while also directing and switching the shows. When not working in the control room, the editor is responsible for the linear and non-linear editing of news and highly produced feature segments, as well as the feeding or FTPing of the projects to Atlanta.
