Conference offers reporting fellowships [Brazil]

Journalists 35 and younger are eligible to cover this conference in Brazil.

The International Anti-Corruption Council will select up to 15 journalists to report on its International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), which will take place November 7- 10.

The selected journalists will work under the guidance of the IACC’s Social Media Unit to report on the conference sessions through various social media and new media channels, including the IACC blog, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Candidates must have at least three years of work experience, fluency in English. The journalists should currently based in one of the following countries: Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, El Salvador, Trinidad and Tobago, The Turks and Caicos Islands, Uruguay, Unites States or Venezuela and there are additional scholarships available for young journalists from Sub-Saharan Africa.

Participants will receive a pre-conference training session, a round-trip economy travel ticket to Brazil, refund for any visa costs, accommodation for five nights, airport transfers and meals.
