International broadcast convention focuses on innovation

This year's edition of the IBC trade show for broadcast professionals held in Amsterdam places special importance on digital innovation.
IBC events include panel discussions, free sessions, keynote speakers from leading companies like Facebook, BBC Worldwide, Vodafone and many more.
Hot topics this year include reaching consumers across multiple platforms, new advertising models, mobile TV and the challenges of 3D.
Industry executives don't pack the halls - the conference also makes room for broadcast students and newcomers through the Rising Stars program.
The conference is held from September 8 -13 and costs vary depending on the pass, ranging from EU€60 (about US$86) for an exhibition pass to EU€3000 (about US$4,278) for VIP access.
