Conference on media reform seeks proposals
Deadline:
Journalists can submit panel ideas for an upcoming conference.
The National Conference for Media Reform is dedicated to changing the media and building a better democracy.
Organizers are currently seeking proposals for conference sessions and welcome feedback about possible topics and presenters for its upcoming conference for Media Reform, which will be held in Denver on April 5–7, 2013.
Conference sessions must relate to media reform, activism or policy. Topics will likely include how technology is changing the world, the policies and politics shaping our media, the future of journalism and public media and strategies to build the movement for media that serve the public interest.
Suggestions for conference sessions, presenters and topics should strive to have creative and varied formats; be hands-on and participatory; interaction, training and audience participation are essential; sessions should inspire action and be diverse.
The deadline for proposals is September 10.
