A conference on sustainable local journalism will be offered in London.

The one-day conference, “Sustaining Local Journalism: new ways of funding local reporting,” is sponsored by the European Journalism Training Association and City University London. It is open to any interested members of the public.

Speakers for the conference include former Sunday Times reporter, Greg Hadfield of the U.K. and Ernst Poulsen, a freelance web journalist from Denmark.

The cost of the conference is £20 (about US$33), which includes lunch.
