The evolution of journalism in the Ibero-American world is the theme of the International Congress of Media and Journalism History, to be held on October 6-7 in Portugal.

Organized by the Center for Media and Journalism (CIMJ), the event will feature plenary and parallel sessions with presentations on subjects related to the history of media and journalism.

The official languages ​​of the congress are Portuguese, Galician and Spanish. However, English papers will be presented in the free topic sessions.

The call for papers is now closed, but those interested can sign up to attend the event. The cost for students, the unemployed, scholars and CIMJ members is €20 (about US$30); for professionals, €50 (about US$70).
