Iraqi journalists can apply in seven categories for the Al-Basira Magazine contest. Categories include: Iraqi photos; short stories; articles; investigative reports; news polls; interviews; and research.ِ Each applicant can apply to a maximum of three categories.

Three winners in each category will receive $250,000, $200,000, and $100,000 dinars, respectively.
