Contest for Spanish-language blogs open

Bloggers who write in Spanish can participate in this contest.
Writers are invited to participate in a blogging contest to promote the Spanish language and Spanish culture.
The contest aims to encourage participation in initiatives that contribute to the growth of Spanish in the online world in the following categories: best young blog author (between 18 and 26 years old); best blog in the teaching of Spanish; and best blog in the dissemination of Spanish culture.
The contest also includes a special category for the blog that receives the most votes from Internet users.
The contest is open to anyone over 18 years of age, who is directly responsible for managing the blog. It must have been created before January 1, 2013, and must be active during the course of the contest. The blog should also be updated regularly. The competition is open only to blogs whose content is written in Spanish.
The winner of each category will receive a tablet. The winners of the best young blog and the best blog in the dissemination of culture will also receive an intensive training course at the Escuela de Escritura of the University of Alcalá or a voucher for a similar training. The winner of the best blog in the teaching of Spanish will also receive a scholarship for a training course for teaching Spanish as a foreign language at the Cervantes Institute.
The contest is sponsored by the Universidad de Alcalá, Fundéu BBVA, the Fundación Gabriel García Márquez para el Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano (FNPI), Google, the Instituto Cervantes, Madrid Network-Cluster del Español and Mongrafías.com.
