Journalists interested in bettering their knowledge of quantitative methods can register for this course in Quito.

The Centro Internacional de Estudios Superiores de Comunicación para América Latina (CIESPAL) is offering a course on qualitative methods July 9-11 in Ecuador. The course will be taught by Colombian expert Alexander Amézquita.

The course aims to provide participants with the necessary the tools to develop social research designs with a quantitative perspective, identifying and developing variables, dimensions, indicators and processes for collecting and processing quantitative data, appropriate information sources and validation procedures.

The course costs US$100.
