Course on understanding South Asia open for registration

A ten-day course in Kathmandu, Nepal is open to journalists who are interested in understanding South Asian dynamics of peace and conflict. The course will be held February 7 to 17.

Participation will be limited to 40 students. Students will be awarded a certificate from the School for International Training Graduate Institute.

The program, Conflict Transformation Across Cultures (CONTACT), aims to provide training on current and past conflicts in South Asia.

The program fee is US$500, and accomodation costs US$300.

Glade to know about the course on such important topic "South Asian dynamics of peace and conflict" and would suggest that Journalists of South Asian Countries should be given more preference.

You may get help of SAFMA (South Asian Free Media Association) for referring journalists from their regions i.e Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan,India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
