Journalists with experience in high-risk reporting can apply for a course on safe coverage offered by the Center for Digital Journalism at the University of Guadalajara in Mexico. The course is free, and will include two classes in Mexico.

Students will learn about safety protocols, communicating with editors, handling threats, risk analysis and dealing with sources. Journalists must dedicate five to 10 hours weekly to homework and reading.
