Data journalism conference open
Date:
Journalists and media professionals can attend a data journalism conference in Austria.
The European Journalism Centre and the Journalism and Media Forum in Vienna offer a two-day event where journalists can learn from international experts how to get started with data journalism and develop the skills they need to succeed in the field.
Day two of the workshop is fully booked, but there is still space for day one, which features a series of talks aimed at journalists and decision makers in newsrooms, heads of sections or editors-in-chief who want to get a sense of what data journalism can do for their newsroom, what the operation involves and if it makes sense for their newsroom to start a data journalism operation.
Speakers include journalists and experts from the BBC, The Guardian and Zeit Online.
A day pass costs EU€50 (about US$64).
