Journalism educators and newspaper employees from Canada and the United States can apply for fellowships to attend The American Press Institute seminars.

Topics for 2011 seminars include many hot-button media issues including "The Battle for Community: Crowded, Competitive and Hyper Local," taking place March 7-8 and "Media Leadership in the Digital Age," which will be held May 23-24.

The American Press Institute (API) fellowships pay expenses for participants attend an API seminar between March and June, 2011.
