A class teaching aspiring journalists how to land an internship using social media will be offered in New York City on July 6.

The class is led by New York Creative Interns’ (NYCi) team members Emily Meithner and Marny Smith and hosted by The Wix Lounge in New York City.

Topics covered include Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and blogging. All attendees should have basic knowledge of these social media outlets and are recommended to bring their laptops, tablets or iPads with them to class.

The cost is US$10 and space is limited.
