Print, digital and broadcast journalists who reside in Kenya are eligible for this award.

The Media Council of Kenya is accepting entries for its Annual Journalists Excellence Awards (AJEA), which aim to encourage development journalism in Kenya in respect to Vision 2030.

There are 17 categories, which include: tourism reporting, the digital journalism, health reporting, television and news bulletin, photography, environmental reporting and sports reporting.

Only journalists accredited by the Media Council of Kenya are eligible to submit entries for the awards. Entry forms can be obtained at the Media Council of Kenya offices or downloaded from the council's website.

Works must have been published or broadcast within the last calendar year.

The submission deadline is March 15.
