Deadline Approaching: Media fellowship on war and children [India]
Deadline:
Journalists who cover war and its impact on children in India can apply for fellowship.
Non-governmental organization Child Rights and You (CRY) welcomes applications from journalists with published material for its "Growing up in War" media fellowship. The fellowship initiative aims to consolidate the point of views of children in India living in and with areas witnessing long-term conflict.
Organizers hope that the media material will help efforts to lobby for better protection of the rights of children living in conflict-affected areas.
Up to two fellowships with grants of Rs. 45,000 (about US$1000) - plus travel and lodging/boarding costs will be offered. The fellowship lasts three months.
